Hot fuchsia-magenta blooms with a deeper, velvety center.
Superbena Royale® Plum Wine Verbena is a sun- to part-sun-tolerant annual grown for its mounding, trailing habit and continuous bloom, bringing saturated color and coverage to containers and garden beds.
What You'll Use It For
- Filling containers with trailing color
- Spilling over edges of baskets and planters
- Groundcover in sunny beds
- Mass planting for bold, continuous color
- Pairing with yellows, whites, or silvers
Why Lazy Leaf Loves It
Not a typical verbena—Superbena. The color reads much closer to fuchsia-magenta than plum, with a brighter, more saturated tone that stands out from a distance. The deeper center gives each cluster definition so it doesn't blur into one flat color. What makes this one especially useful is how early and aggressively it fills in. It starts blooming sooner than standard verbenas, spreads quickly, and keeps flowering without deadheading. It's also mildew resistant and heat tolerant, so it holds its shape and color through the toughest part of the season.
